Introducing, the biggest charity event on Lake Powell in 2009! Antelope Point Marina in partnership with Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Friends of Lake Powell and Antelope Point Scholarship Fund intends to provide you with an opportunity to enjoy beautiful Lake Powell and participate in an awesome fun fulled weekend one last time before the season ends.

Together, we have a chance to help contribute through participating in a live auction and poker run all the while enjoying each other’s company at your favorite place to relax and unwind, Antelope Point Marina. We chose Lake Powell to be the host and Antelope Point Marina to be the site! With the one of a kind marina village, state-of-the-art boat rentals and perfect weather, where else would you want to be? Some of you have your houseboats right here. Even better! For those that don’t have lodging for the 3 days of fun, Forever Resorts has stepped in, and has you covered. For 75% of the normal bed rate, you can call right now and simply say you need a place to stay during the Lake Powell Challenge! They will reserve a houseboat for you today. The rates are very low.
Raise Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars!
The main event: A 180 mile Poker Run with your favorite car/motorcycle or any motorized vehicle of your choice. We’ll cruise through the Navajo Nation stopping off at designated gathering spots along the way. Next, Silent Auction/Live Auction Saturday night and the winner of the Poker Run will receive: VIP Passes to the Barrett-Jackson Car Show!

What better way to raise money for Juvenile Diabetes, Friends of Lake Powell and Antelope Point Scholarship Fund than to play the entire weekend.
This is the first annual event, and we’re aiming for $50,000. Every penny counts when fighting Juvenile Diabetes and preserving Lake Powell’s future. Of course, eligible scholarship recipients will appreciate your contributions too.
Fishing with Wayne Gustaveson
Oh yeah, another bonus! The one and only Wayne Gustaveson of Wayne’s Words has volunteered to spend the day fishing with your youth at the Antelope Point Marina fish dock. So, bring the kids with their fishing tackle and they’ll have an awesome time fishing with a Lake Powell Legend.
100% Tax Deductible Write Off!
We will personally provide you with a voucher to validate that your entire registration went to charity! We’ll begin registration on April 1st. The first fifteen people to sign up will receive 20 gallons of gas for free! If you are one of the first fifteen people, I will mail you a gas voucher that will be honored by Antelope Point Marina during the event. Don’t be surprised if we call you to see what you’re driving for the main event!
The registration fee for the entire event is $350. For couples, the fee is $600. This will include all meals from Friday night thru Sunday morning. We will also offer all you can eat pizza specials for the kids at a very low cost. We definitely want the entire family here to enjoy the weekend and show support for all of the juvenile diabetes kids that we are raising funds for.

We want to give you the results that no one else can. You might be thinking, “it’s still a little pricey.” I’ll confide in you, it isn’t for everybody. In fact, we are opening the event to the first 200 people. The sign-up on the website will go down after we confirm 200 member registrations.
